Alabama Authors
The Alabama Public Library Service maintains a
special collection of books by authors who were
either born in Alabama or have lived in the state
for five or more years. If you meet either of these
criteria, the Acquisitions Department will acquire
duplicate copies of the author's works. One copy
will be kept in the Alabamiana Room (will not
circulate), the other copy will be put into
circulation and made available to the public.
